But there's one secret to making a great sandbar day even better:
Come prepared.

So before you grab your sunglasses and head to the marina, here's our Ultimate Sandbar Packing Checklist.
A sandbar is a shallow area where sand naturally accumulates beneath the water. Depending on the location, tide, and conditions, guests may be able to anchor nearby, get into the water, float, socialize, listen to music, enjoy refreshments, and experience Florida boating culture firsthand.
The journey there is part of the experience.
You're cruising across Tampa Bay, enjoying the sunshine and scenery, looking for dolphins and other marine life, listening to your favorite music, and spending quality time with your group.
Then the anchor drops.
Sandbar mode officially begins.
Florida sunshine is beautiful, but spending several hours on the water means increased sun exposure.
Bring a broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen and remember to reapply it throughout the day, especially after swimming.
Whenever possible, consider boating-friendly sunscreen products and avoid products that can stain boat upholstery.
And don't wait until you're already feeling the sun.
