Ash Laying Memorial Cruise – Offshore Memorial Service Fee

Offshore Memorial Service Fee: $200

To ensure your loved one's ashes are laid to rest in a dignified, legal, and environmentally responsible manner, a $200 Offshore Memorial Service Fee is applied to all Ash Laying Memorial Cruises.

This fee covers the additional time, fuel, planning, and vessel positioning required to conduct the ceremony in accordance with applicable maritime guidelines and best practices.

What This Fee Includes:

⚓ Offshore Vessel Placement

The vessel must travel beyond our normal cruising area and proceed approximately three (3) miles offshore into the Gulf waters to conduct the ash scattering ceremony in a respectful setting away from heavy boating traffic.

⚓ Compliance with Maritime Guidelines

The offshore location is selected to align with U.S. Coast Guard and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recommendations regarding the scattering of cremated remains at sea.

⚓ Additional Fuel & Operating Costs

Traveling offshore requires increased fuel consumption, vessel operating time, and navigational planning beyond a standard charter route.

⚓ Ceremony Preparation & Coordination

This includes pre-cruise planning, route selection, weather monitoring, and ensuring a safe and meaningful memorial experience for family and friends.

⚓ Dedicated Memorial Location

The offshore setting provides a peaceful environment for reflection, prayer, tributes, and remembrance while honoring your loved one with dignity.

Your charter rate includes up to six (6) passengers aboard MY ACE.

✨ Additional Guests

• $50 per additional passenger
• Maximum of 4 additional guests
• Total vessel capacity: 10 passengers

Guest Breakdown:

• Guests 1–6: Included in base charter rate
• Guests 7–10: $50 per person
